PlayStation demo skins that haven’t been released online after more than 20 years

In the late 1990s, Crystal Dynamics and publisher Eidos Interactive found a great deal of success with the Gex franchise. The character starred in three major releases between 1995 and 1999, which appeared on a number of different platforms. It’s possible that waning interest in the original PlayStation played a role in the game’s cancellation, but Crystal Dynamics has not addressed the discovery, as of this writing.

Square Enix acquired the Gex franchise when it purchased Eidos Interactive. While the series is still complete, the publisher introduced a new rebrand for the series at the end of 2021. Unlikely Jax Jr. You’ll see Daylight as an official release, but perhaps Square Enix will revisit the series in some capacity. For now, Gex fans will have to wait and see!
